We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer – Palantir to design, build, and scale robust data platforms using Palantir Foundry. This role is ideal for data engineers who enjoy working on complex, large-scale data ecosystems and transforming raw data into reliable, high-quality data assets that drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models using Palantir Foundry.
- Leverage Foundry’s core components such as Pipelines, Ontology, Code Repositories, and Workshop to deliver production-grade data solutions.
- Ingest, transform, and curate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources ensuring data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Build reusable datasets and data products that support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.
- Implement best practices for data governance, lineage, access control, and versioning within Palantir Foundry.
- Optimize performance and scalability of data workflows for large datasets and high-volume processing.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to translate requirements into effective data engineering solutions.
- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and proactively improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of data engineering standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–9 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including pipeline development and data modeling.
- Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, and large-scale data processing.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python for data engineering workflows.
- Experience working with relational and analytical databases, data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Ability to work with complex datasets and design scalable, maintainable data architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on enterprise-grade data platforms or mission-critical systems.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to analytics, BI tools, or data science workflows within Palantir Foundry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
