Experience & Technical Skills

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of testing experience in the IT industry, preferably in the Credit Card / Finance domain.

Required Technical Skills:

• Hands-on technical skills on core mainframe technologies for 3 years.
• Primary Skills: JCL, DB2, CICS. Expert in PL/SQL, FTP, and knowledge on any Mainframe Scheduler.
• Knowledge on RDBMS and No-SQL platforms like Big Data, Couchbase, MongoDB.
• Languages: Java, Python and JSON structure is a plus.
• Public & Private Cloud.
• Good to have experience working in an integrated platform and dataflow with a mix of technologies.
• Knowledge on APIs, REST & SOAP.
• Use of tools: SOAPUI, POSTMAN, Splunk.
• Must be good in documentation and acquainted with MS Office tools, especially Excel basic operations such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Remove Duplicates, etc.
• Good to have knowledge on BI tools & reporting.
• Good understanding of different phases and deliverables of testing projects — Test Plan, Test Approach, Test Data, Test Execution, including automation for test data, test bed setup and execution.
• Understanding on customer journeys and defect lifecycle.
• Understanding the data setup need and identifying the SORs as per the workflow.
• Familiarity & experience with Amex test environment and platforms is preferred.
• Certification like ISTQB is a plus.
