Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead Azure Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in building scalable, high-performance data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will lead data engineering initiatives, design robust data pipelines and mentor teams while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Build, optimize and manage large-scale data processing workflows using Azure Databricks and PySpark
- Develop and tune complex SQL queries for performance and scalability
- Implement ETL/ELT solutions for structured and unstructured data
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security and performance across pipelines
