About the Role

We are seeking a Data Engineering Tech Lead to drive the strategic and technical development of an enterprise-wide Azure Data Platform.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the technical direction for the Azure Data Platform.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable, reusable data pipelines.
• Drive best practices in data engineering, including metadata management, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor a team of data engineers.
• Work closely with stakeholders, software vendors, and project teams to deliver business value.

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of data engineering experience.
• Extensive experience using Azure tools such as Synapse , Fabric, Snowflake (or similar), and traditional ETL tools.
• Strong expertise in Python (PySpark ), SQL, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with data modelling and metadata-driven pipeline development.
• Knowledge of modern Lakehouse architectures and cloud-based platforms like Snowflake.
• A track record of mentoring teams and driving technical excellence.
• Financial services or insurance industry experience is highly regarded.
