Data Governance

Our IT solutions client based in Mumbai is looking for Data Governance Steward for their German Client.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Define and orchestrate data ownership and stewardship across data domains.
• Monitor and advise on data practices to ensure adherence to governance principles.
• Provide guidance on ethical data use and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage Data Catalog, onboard domain teams and help them to adapt

Experience:

• 3+ years of practical experience in full-time data governance frameworks and compliance requirements in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to analyze data and identify data quality issues
• Familiarity with data management tools and technologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of working with Microsoft Purview, Fabric and Power BI is an advantage
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
