Data Governance & Risk Specialist - Risk, MariBank

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of the design and implementation of data governance and data privacy frameworks, principles, policies, practices and standards
• Monitor risks against limits and thresholds and work with risk owners/group risk team to resolve breaches within set timeline
• Produce all relevant data governance and risk information/reports for escalation/presentation to the Board, Senior Management and other relevant stakeholders
• Manage audit/regulatory reviews including coordination, communications, and required actions with internal auditors, external auditors, regulators and internal stakeholders as appropriate
• Provide consultation to business units, legal and security teams to establish and maintain data policies and standards that enable use-cases and ensure regulatory compliance
• Assist in providing data governance and risk management training
