Responsibilities

• Implement and manage data governance/data quality frameworks and processes.

• Conduct data quality and data product testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.

• Explore and Analyze data, identify data quality rules, document data dictionaries and business glossaries.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions.

• Write and optimize complex SQL/HQL queries for data extraction and analysis.

• Develop shell scripts and analytics dashboards.

• Work with Hadoop, Hive, HQL, EDW, and Master Data to manage and analyze large datasets.

• Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders to facilitate data-related projects.

• Should be able to work with minimal guidance, need to plan the deliverables and able to meet timelines.

Mandatory Skills

• Experience: Overall 5 -10 years of IT experience; 4 to 7 years in data governance and data quality management.

• Data Quality and Testing: Proven experience in data quality and data product testing.

• Data Governance Implementation: Strong background in implementing data governance frameworks.

• Data Projects: Excellent understanding and experience with data-focused projects.

• SQL Proficiency: Ability to write complex SQL queries.

• Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of Hadoop, Hive, HQL, EDW, and Master Data. Ability to develop shell scripts.

• Experience in using Data Governance tools.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Dashboard Development: Experience with Tableau or PowerBI will be plus.

• Programming experience or UI development experience will be a plus.

• Development Skills: Capability and flexibility to learn and develop new skills such as PowerApps and Tableau is required

Educational Qualification and Experience:

BE/ or MCA
