Data Management Associate

• Maintain and manage the firm’s global security master and the full universe of reference data.

• Create and update operational reference data used in trading and downstream systems - including trading/custodial accounts, broker codes, commission rates and legal entity details.

• Troubleshoot and resolve pricing and data issues raised by the Trading Desk with urgency.

• Work with Trade Support and Technology to investigate and remediate trade flow errors.

• Partner with stakeholders across Portfolio Management, Compliance, Stock Loan, Legal, Risk, Financial Reporting, Tax, Regulatory Reporting and Technology to resolve issues.

• Collaborate with Technology to design, test, and deploy system enhancements.

• Identify and drive automation initiatives to increase straight-through processing and operational efficiency.

What’s required

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, mathematics or related field

• 5-7 years of operations experience at a hedge fund or financial industry

• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Proven ability to prioritize effectively and operate with a strong sense of urgency

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Comfortable handling multiple tasks and adapting to a fast-paced environment

• A proactive, self-starter mindset – takes ownership and drives results
