Data Operations Engineer

A fast growing, innovative Life Sciences company (Series B funded, expanding to the US) is seeking a Data Operations Engineer to join and scale their organisation.

You will be the vital link between Business, Data, and Technology, tasked with driving operational excellence through process optimisation and intelligent workflow design.

The Mission:

• Scale the business by identifying inefficiencies and designing high impact AI/Automation solutions.
• Deliver End to End Solutions, Developing systems in Python/SQL/dbt and integrate them using APIs/webhooks, ensuring compliance, performance, and clear documentation.
• Challenge the Status Quo: Map current processes, propose new scalable workflows and tooling, and collaborate with Data Engineering on robust data models.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for automation and data transformation.
• Proven experience with ETL/ELT pipelines (dbt or similar) and workflow automation tools (e.g., Make, Airflow, n8n).
• A process optimisation mindset focused on measurable efficiency gains.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills (IC4 Level).
