FUNCTION & DUTIES:

Under the guidance of the Coordinator of the Information Technology department, the operator's primary role is to keep and update the inventory of hardware and software across multiple locations. Core responsibilities include conducting physical and digital inventory, assist in the equipment lifecycle processes, and support logistical tasks related to asset movement according to standard procedures.

  • Travel to sites in Nunavik to conduct physical inventory
  • Record inventory in the Asset Management Platform
  • Document and update IT asset records
  • Ensure goods match purchase orders
  • Ensure proper retirement of obsolete equipment
  • Update stockrooms and deliveries
  • Maintain digital inventory and software license records
  • Assists with loans and returns of audiovisual and technical equipment
