A global professional services firm is seeking a qualified data privacy lawyer to serve as its Data Protection Officer (DPO). This role sits within the in‑house legal function and acts as the primary point of contact for all data protection matters across multiple jurisdictions.


The position is responsible for overseeing compliance with global data protection laws, developing and maintaining the organisation’s data protection framework, and ensuring that policies, processes, and security measures remain robust and up to date. Key responsibilities include monitoring internal compliance, advising on Data Protection Impact Assessments, managing access controls in partnership with IT, handling Data Subject Access Requests, leading staff training, and conducting internal audits.
