We’re Hiring | Assistant Vice President – Data Science
Are you a seasoned AI/ML leader passionate about building large-scale, enterprise-grade data science solutions that create real business impact? This is a rare opportunity to lead and shape advanced analytics for a critical BFSI institution.
We’re looking for a techno-managerial Data Science leader to drive AI/ML strategy, build data products, and lead high-performing teams delivering insights at scale.
Experience: 15–22 Years
Leadership Experience: 4+ Years in AI/ML leadership roles
Employment Type: Fixed-term contract (5 years, extendable)
Industry Preference: BFSI / Technology / ITES / Products / SI
What You’ll Do
✨ Lead end-to-end AI/ML strategy and execution aligned with RBI / Central Banking objectives
✨ Design, develop & deploy predictive, prescriptive & recommendation models
✨ Apply advanced techniques in ML, NLP, Deep Learning & Computer Vision
✨ Build scalable solutions using MLOps, Big Data & Cloud platforms
✨ Lead & mentor a top-class team of data scientists, analysts & engineers
✨ Collaborate with Product, IT & Business teams to solve complex challenges
✨ Drive ethical AI practices, governance & regulatory compliance
✨ Communicate insights effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders
What You Should Bring
✔ Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Statistical Modelling & Data Mining
✔ Hands-on experience with Python / R, Spark, Hadoop
✔ Deep knowledge of Tensor Flow, Py Torch, Scikit-learn
✔ Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Open Shift)
✔ Strong understanding of MLOps pipelines & scalable deployments
✔ Exposure to Power BI / data visualization tools
✔ Experience handling high-scale data & enterprise data pipelines
✔ Strong leadership, communication & stakeholder management skills
Education:
Bachelor’s in Engineering / Management (Master’s preferred)
Certifications: Big Data / Data Science certifications preferred
