In this role, you will build and optimize machine-learning pipelines that analyze TV content - including segmenting programs, detecting events, classifying scenes, and extracting insights using state-of-the-art AI. You will work with frontier GenAI models and develop custom models when required to address unique media-industry challenges. This position requires someone who can turn data into actionable insights and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.**Key Responsibilities*** **Intelligence & ML Development:** Build and optimize machine-learning models and pipelines for video segmentation, classification, and semantic understanding.* **GenAI and Frontier Model Integration:** Evaluate, fine-tune, and apply multimodal GenAI and frontier video models to extract insights and automate metadata generation.* **Data Engineering & MLOps:** Develop scalable data pipelines and collaborate on deploying, monitoring, and optimizing video-focused ML models in production* **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with internal and external product and engineering teams to define requirements, deliver insights, and communicate model performance effectively.**Requirements:*** The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in data science with a passion for innovation in media analytics. They are skilled in applying statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and data engineering practices to solve complex problems and deliver actionable insights.* They thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments and are eager to stay current with emerging tools and techniques to continuously improve outcomes.* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data science or machine learning roles, preferably within media, technology, or data-driven environments.* Experience working with frontier AI models (e.g., GPT-5.1, Gemini 3) and their application in video or multimodal analysis.* Hands-on experience with **video, audio, or multimodal data processing.*** Experience **working in cross-functional, agile product development teams (e.g., using Scrum or SAFE) as well as familiarity**with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) is desirable.**Skills & Qualifications*** Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field* Strong competence in Python including common data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, or TensorFlow) as well as multimodal data processing libraries (**e.g., OpenCV, FFmpeg**).* Expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning architectures, and model optimization.* Knowledge of TV/media data structures and familiarity with video/audio feature extraction is a plus.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality* Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.* Advanced/fluent English.* Be part of a groundbreaking initiative transforming TV monitoring through AI.* Work with a collaborative team of experts in data science, technology, and media operations.* Opportunity to innovate and shape the future of advertising intelligence at scale**Country**BrazilWe pride ourselves on understanding people, and what makes us think and act the way we do.And because we know people, we like to make sure our own people are being looked after as well.
