TCS is looking for Data Scientist

Experience: 6-8 years

Location: Mumbai / Ahmedabad / Hyderabad

Required technical skill set: Python, SQL, ETL processes, Data Engineering Machine Learning, Power BI

Must have skill:

• Data Science Tools: Proficiency in Python, SQL and relevant libraries (e.g., pandas).
• Data Engineering: Experience with ETL processes and working with large datasets.
• Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
• Visualization: Proficiency in tools like Power BI
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Communication: Ability to translate complex data insights into business-friendly language.

Good to have:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Knowledge of telecom billing systems and CDR (Call Detail Records).
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and data privacy in telecom.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models for fraud detection and revenue assurance and should be able to continuously analyze and fine tune the models
• Should be able to analyze structured and unstructured data CDRs/EDRs/Configuration records etc to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends.
• Collaborate with internal/business teams to understand data sources and business processes.
• Analytical skills to perform root cause analysis on revenue leakage and fraud incidents.
• Design and implement dashboards for real-time monitoring.
• Maintain complete documentation and SOPs on the methodologies, findings, and recommendations.
