Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to analyze complex datasets, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights that drive data-informed decision-making. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams in a remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to extract insights
• Build, train, and evaluate statistical and machine learning models
• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and preprocessing
• Design and conduct experiments (A/B testing, hypothesis testing)
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy models into production
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and results

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis
• Experience working with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of MLOps or model deployment practices
• Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team
