Job Overview

We are seeking a Data Scientist who can work full-time with MedBrains and play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with data modeling, and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive product, business, and research outcomes.

The final compensation will be determined based on interview performance, technical depth, and problem-solving capability, within the salary range of ₹25 LPA to ₹40 LPA.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze large, structured and unstructured datasets to extract meaningful insights
• Build, train, and optimize machine learning and statistical models
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions for business use cases
• Work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to define data strategies
• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines and workflows
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency
• Present insights, trends, and findings to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and machine learning

Detailed Job Description – Data Scientist

Technical Responsibilities

• Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques
• Work with tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization libraries
• Develop and deploy ML models (classification, regression, clustering, NLP, etc.)
• Handle real-world datasets with missing values, noise, and inconsistencies
• Build dashboards, reports, and analytical frameworks for decision-making

Collaboration & Strategy

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data solutions
• Support strategic initiatives through data-backed recommendations
• Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and brainstorming sessions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
• Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.)
• Experience with SQL and database systems
• Hands-on experience with real-world data projects
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Experience with deep learning, NLP, or advanced AI models
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data tools
• Experience deploying models into production environments
• Prior experience working in fast-paced or startup environments
