Proficiency in databases such as MongoDB. Experience in working with data vendor API’s such as Bloomberg, ThomsonReuters, etc
Knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms such as AWS, Hadoop, etc
Able to think independently and creatively
Able to see a project through conception, design, development, and deployment
Eager and able to learn new programming languages, systems, and concepts
Strong programming skills with an emphasis on writing clear, concise and maintainable code
Close attention to detail and ability to work to very high standards
Good communication and team building skills in a fast paced environment
Ability to follow the application development best practices with regards to component design, unit testing, error handling, and logging
