Data scientist

888 is looking for an accountant who is looking to jump start his/her career and join a large international public firm, a leader in its field, as part of accounting team.

As an Assistant Controller at 888, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts according to IFRS for individual entities and on Group level
• Preparation of consolidated financial statements for international Group of companies
• Research and analyze complex accounting and financial issues
• Collaborating with colleagues, managers, and advisors
• Working closely with a wide range of teams across the finance department, act as an analytical focal point & support decision making.
• Analyzing financial data perform multiple scenarios build models and identify trends
• Interacting with auditors and manage Group audit
• Interacting with international accounting firms

This job is only for you if you have:

• An academic education in accounting and economics. CPA Certified- a must
• At least 3 years’ experience with a large corporate or a Big 4 public accounting firm
• Strong fundamental accounting knowledge
• Excellent Excel proficiency and familiarity with ERP systems
• Experienced and able to work as part of a team, yet also to think and work independently
• Ability to work in Intense and dynamic environment
• Able to meet deadlines and has multitasking abilities
• English at a very high level
