Data Solutions Project Manager

Overview

The Data Solutions Project Manager role is with the Bureau of Meteorology. The role is ongoing and located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Perth or Sydney. The role reports to the Manager, National Security and Space Capability Delivery (EL2).

Responsibilities

• Deepen customer understanding and translate insights into tailored data-driven solutions and successful project outcomes.
• Bridge external user needs with internal capabilities—aligning customer goals across NSSP’s national security and Defence interfaces with the Bureau's organisational and technical requirements to deliver integrated, fit-for-purpose and cost-effective data solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers and NSSP leadership to deliver customer solutions aligned with NSSP operations and the Bureau's strategic goals, embedding governance, ensuring data security and compliance, and driving performance optimisation.
