We are currently seeking a Database Admin Specialist Advisor to join our team in Mexico City, México (MX‑MEX), Mexico (MX).

Responsibilities

  • Provide architecture development, design, implementation, upgrading, administration, and management for Enterprise and Standard Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) databases
  • Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server in non‑production environments
  • Provide strategic database recommendations for implementation of future database releases
  • Adhere to and implement recommended methodologies to enforce standardization and flexibility across the databases
  • Be capable of implementing physical data structures and automated database process programming that reach across both structured and unstructured data sources
  • Configure databases to provide a wide range of services for the ingesting, storage, access, analytics, and processing of data
  • Configure and administer High Availability Solutions like Database Mirroring, Replication, Log shipping, and multi‑node 27 SQL Server clustering
  • Implement and support SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for the SAM application
  • Conduct capacity planning, performance testing, and tuning as needed
  • Monitor and report database metrics for decision making purposes on the lower environments

What You Will Bring

  • 7 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
  • Critical thinker and problem solving skills
