Job Description

• Experience (5+ yrs):
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience managing databases within ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with SSIS for ETL processes and SSRS for report development.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and BI methodologies.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL and PG SQL.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with database backup, recovery, security, and integrity.
• Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
• Experience with DBA tools and utilities specific to PostgreSQL.

• Database Management:
• Install, configure, and upgrade PostgreSQL database servers and related applications.
• Design and implement database schemas tailored to ERP requirements.
• Monitor database performance and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency.
• Expertise in working with popular DBMS platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL(preferred), or MongoDB.
• Data Integration (SSIS):
• Develop and manage SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems.
