Junior PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA)- Summary of Major Responsibilities.
We are seeking a Junior PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) who is eager to learn and grow, to join our database infrastructure team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced team to manage, maintain, and optimize our PostgreSQL databases in cloud environments (AWS).
You will be involved in day-to-day database support, assisting with key tasks such as maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior DBAs. Additionally, you will help with configuring new environments, performing basic performance analysis, and participating in data migration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup, maintenance, and upgrades of PostgreSQL databases.
Support the resolution of incidents and performance issues under the guidance of senior DBAs.
Collaborate on backup, restore, and disaster recovery tasks.
