Job Description
- Administer, maintain, and support MS SQL Server databases across development and production environments
Perform backups, restores , and manage recovery models
Conduct performance tuning and optimization (PTO) using native monitoring tools
Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions
Configure and maintain database servers and processes, ensuring system health,
availability, and security
Approve developers' change requests for database objects such as tables, procedures,
indices, constraints, triggers, and views
Assist developers in performance tuning and query optimization
Independently troubleshoot and resolve database issues in real time
Automate routine processes, monitor database jobs, and track/document changes
