The role involves end-to-end ownership of the database layer, performance tuning and optimization, participation in international projects, and the opportunity to influence current and future technology decisions.
Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience supporting mission-critical databases on AWS
Strong hands-on experience with:
AWS RDS
Amazon Aurora (PostgreSQL & MySQL)
Amazon Redshift
Expertise in:
Installation & configuration
Performance tuning
Query optimization
Workload management
