BAE Systems is looking for a dynamic individual, self-motivated, with data and computing modernization experience, to join our team as a Database Design Engineer II providing support to the United States Army Europe-Africa's (USAREUR) data and computing modernization efforts required to configure and integrate systems that support mission command decisionmaking, enhance interoperability and C2 data sharing between US, NATO and coalition partners, and support the command s concept for distributed command post operations.
In this role specific efforts include performing data access analysis and developing strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of the SSMARTT Data Strategy. Define, design, and build dimensional and relational databases. Develop data warehousing blueprints, evaluate hardware and software platforms, and integrate systems.
