Piper Companies is looking for a Database Engineer/DBA for a leading healthcare organization located in Columbia, MD.

Responsibilities for the Database Engineer/DBA:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of highly complex, enterprise-level data security, database architecture, and ETL solutions
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement new database hardware, software, and tools, including cloud strategies.
  • Define, and enforce standards for data security, including risk management, access control, data obfuscation, and encryption
  •  Improve data ETL processes for improved performance and scalability

    • Qualifications for the Database Engineer/DBA:

  • 8+ years of database engineering experience
  • Deep ETL experience focused on scalability and performance
  • Experience with configuration/performance tuning of SQL databases/data warehouses
  • Primary focus on SQL dev...
