**Database Engineer** **(*PostgreSQL and MySQL**)*
**Remote in Mexico (**Work time: Remote - US CST**)**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Administer and maintain **relational databases** including PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
- Manage **NoSQL databases** such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis (In-Memory).
- Support and optimize **distributed databases**, particularly Google Spanner.
- Implement and maintain **cloud-based database solutions** on **GCP** or other cloud platforms.
- Monitor database performance using tools like **Datadog, Grafana, Splunk**, and cloud provider metrics.
- Utilize **MongoDB Ops Manager** for operational management and automation.
- Ensure database security, backup, and recovery procedures are in place and effective.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
