DataBricks Consultant
5-8years
Contract duration :3 months and extendable
Strong understanding of data warehousing fundamentals:
- Star/Snowflake schema
- SCD Type 1, 2
- ETL/ELT concepts
- Hands-on experience with Databricks (Notebooks, Jobs, Workflows, Delta Lake).
- Develop scalable pipelines using Delta Lake, Spark SQL, and Lakehouse architecture.
- Strong expertise in PySpark, Spark SQL, RDD/DataFrame APIs.
- Experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and large-scale data systems.
- Proficiency in writing efficient SQL for transformations, validations, and profiling.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) — Azure preferred.
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
