<p><b>Description:</b></p><br/><p>About the job:</p><br/><p>Position Title: Senior Manager-Facilities</p><br/><p>Reports Directly to: Regional Leader</p><br/><p><b>Position Overview:</b></p><br/><p>- The Senior Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operations, and strategic planning of multiple facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective environments that support business operations.</p><br/><p>- This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex facility operations while leading a team of facility professionals.</p><br/><p>- Should have handled multiple sites across PAN India.</p><br/><p><b>Primary Operations Management</b></p><br/><p>- Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple facilities including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and building automation systems</p><br/><p>- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment life and minimize downtime</p><br/><p>- Manage facility budgets, forecasting, and cost control measures</p><br/><p>- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA, ADA, and environmental standards</p><br/><p><b>Team Leadership</b></p><br/><p>- Lead and mentor a team of facility coordinators, maintenance technicians, and contracted service providers</p><br/><p>- Conduct performance reviews, training programs, and professional development initiatives</p><br/><p>- Coordinate work schedules and resource allocation across multiple sites</p><br/><p><b>Strategic Planning</b></p><br/><p>- Develop long-term facility master plans and capital improvement strategies</p><br/><p>- Conduct facility assessments and recommend upgrades or modifications</p><br/><p>- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency</p><br/><p>- Support space planning and workplace optimization initiatives</p><br/><p><b>Vendor and Contract Management</b></p><br/><p>- Negotiate and manage contracts with external service providers and vendors</p><br/><p>- Oversee contractor performance and ensure service level agreements are met</p><br/><p>- Source and evaluate new vendors to optimize cost and service quality</p><br/><p><b>Emergency Response and Safety</b></p><br/><p>- Develop and maintain emergency response procedures and business continuity plans</p><br/><p>- Coordinate with security teams and local emergency services</p><br/><p>- Ensure workplace safety protocols are implemented and maintained</p><br/><p>- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions</p><br/><p><b>Required and Experience</b></p><br/><p>- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field</p><br/><p>- Minimum 10-15 years of facilities management experience with at least 5 years in a Managerial role</p><br/><p>- Experience managing multiple facilities or large commercial properties</p><br/><p><b>Technical Skills</b></p><br/><p>- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)</p><br/><p>- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)</p><br/><p>- Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements</p><br/><p>- Project management experience and certification (PMP preferred)</p><br/><p><b>Professional Certifications (Preferred)</b></p><br/><p>- Facility Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM)</p><br/><p>- Professional Engineer (PE) license</p><br/><p>- OSHA 30-Hour certification</p><br/><p>- LEED certification</p><br/><p><b>Skills And Competencies</b></p><br/><p>- Excellent leadership and team management abilities</p><br/><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</p><br/><p>- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills</p><br/><p>- Budget management and financial analysis capabilities</p><br/><p>- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities</p><br/><p>- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management Skills:</b></p><br/><p>- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences verbally and in writing</p><br/><p>- Proven leadership skills</p><br/><p>- Strong creative and analytical thinking</p><br/><p>- Solid writing skills</p><br/><p>- Excellent customer service</p><br/><p>- Analytical and problem-solving skills</p><br/><p>- Aptitude for learning and implementing new technologies</p><br/><p>- Excellent Customer facing and Service skills</p><br/><p>- Strong organizational skills</p><br/><p>- Strong project management skills</p><br/><p>- Strong presentation skills</p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
