Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop integration solutions using IBM DataPower Gateway (XI52, IDG, or Virtual editions)
- Configure and manage services including Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), Web Service Proxy (WSP), XML Firewall, and Loopback
- Implement security policies: SSL/TLS, OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, LDAP, Kerberos, and client certificate authentication
- Develop and maintain XSLT, XPath, and XQuery scripts for message transformation and routing
- Integrate DataPower with backend systems (WebSphere, SAP, Oracle, REST/SOAP services)
- Monitor and troubleshoot DataPower services using logs, probes, and debugging tools
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for deployment automation and CI/CD integration
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and governance policies
- Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures
> Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in IBM DataPower Gateway development and administration
- Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON, SOAP, REST, WSDL, and XSD
- Experience with API Gateway policies, threat protection, and rate limiting
- Familiarity with IBM API Connect, WebSphere, MQ, and other middleware platforms
- Proficient in scripting and automation using Shell, Python, or Ansible
- Hands-on experience with TLS/SSL certificates, keystores, and truststores
- Understanding of network protocols: HTTP/S, TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
