As part of our Digital HR Transformation, we are in the process of implementing Dayforce as our Payroll system across the globe. We are looking for a DayForce Functional Consultant who can drive the implementation and rollouts across the Globe.


Dayforce Payroll Technical Consultant is a specialist who implements, configures, and optimizes the Dayforce HCM (Human Capital Management) platform, with a primary focus on the Payroll module. This role is a blend of financial knowledge and technical expertise, ensuring a business's payroll processes are accurately and efficiently transferred and managed within the Dayforce system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation & Configuration: Lead and participate in the full project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support. This includes configuring Dayforce Payroll based on business-specific needs, such as pay policies, earning and deduction codes, and tax configurations.
  • Data Migration & Integrations: Manage the technical aspects of moving a business's historical and current payroll data into Dayforce. They also design, build, and test integrations between Dayforce and other third-party systems, like time and attendance solutions or financial software, often using technologies like SQL and XML.
  • System Testing: Conduct comprehensive unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the configured payroll system is accurate and functions as intended. A key part of this is performing parallel payroll runs to validate the Dayforce system's output against the legacy system.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Act as a subject matter expert, identifying and resolving complex technical issues that arise during implementation or post-go-live. This includes troubleshooting data, configuration, or integration-related problems.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and configure custom reports and dashboards to provide businesses with insights into their payroll data. This often involves a deep understanding of the Dayforce data structure and reporting tools.
  • business Collaboration: Work closely with business to understand their business processes, provide training, and offer guidance on best practices for using the Dayforce platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in implementing and configuring Dayforce Payroll, with at least 8+years of experience.. Experience with other modules, such as workforce management (WFM) or benefits, is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of technical concepts related to software implementation, including data migration, system integrations, and reporting. Knowledge of SQL and XML is often required.
  • Payroll & Functional Knowledge: An in-depth understanding of payroll processes, including tax regulations, compliance requirements, and general accounting principles.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively lead business workshops, manage expectations, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or Computer Science is often preferred. Dayforce certifications are highly valued.
