DBA DB2 Consultant.

Profile:
- Proven expertise as a DB2 DBA, with strong experience in technical planning and system migrations;
- Solid understanding of IBM DB2 upgrade/migration strategies and their impact on enterprise systems;
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills;
- Ability to validate and support execution steps, even when performed by third-party teams;
- Availability to travel and provide real-time support during key execution phases.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory and characterise all DB2 environments;
- Assess database obsolescence and its impact on correlated application systems;
- Define appropriate upgrade or migration strategies;
- Conduct proof-of-concept tests and version compatibility checks with dependent applications;
- Produce technical reports outlining recommendations, timelines, risk assessments, mitigation strategies and effort estimations;
