Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments
  • Handle database provisioning, configuration, performance tuning, and optimization
  • Work extensively with Supabase , including database management, authentication, storage, and APIs
  • Ensure database security, access control, backup, and recovery strategies
  • Perform database migrations, upgrades, and patching with minimal downtime
  • Monitor database health and troubleshoot performance issues proactively
  • Collaborate with application developers and DevOps teams for seamless integration
  • Ensure high availability, data integrity, and disaster recovery readiness
  • Provide support during night shift operations and handle critical incidents

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
  • Strong expertise in PostgreSQL (query optimization, indexing, replication, backups)
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with Supabase
  • Experience with cloud-based database environments
  • Good understanding of database security best practices
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
