DBT ETL expert - CREQ Description
- Overall 5+ yrs experience with various data platforms, data warehousing initiatives including at least 2 implementation experience with airflow and DBT.
- Develop and maintain data models, transformations, and SQL queries within the DBT framework to support reporting and analytics initiatives is mandatory.
- Thorough understanding and application of AWS services related to Cloud data platform is mandatory AWS S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift.
- Implement best practices for data modelling, schema design, and version control within DBT, ensuring consistency and scalability across projects is mandatory.
- Optimize and troubleshoot ETL processes to improve performance, reliability, and data quality.
- Should have Ability to translate the tech spec into working code
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in ETL technologies, incorporating new tools and techniques as appropriate like Airflow and - - - DBT specific CICD, Version Control and Automated Testing.
