Job Description
I am looking for an experienced power electronics / EV charging engineer or researcher to work on a DC fast charging station project for electric vehicles.
The project involves analysis and development of a DC fast charging station based on a DC microgrid, with focus on reducing grid impact and improving charging efficiency. The work should align with IEEE-level research and standards. A reference IEEE article will be provided to guide the technical scope.
Scope of Work:
• Study and analyze DC fast charging architectures (80–240 kW)
• Design and/or explain DC microgrid-based EV charging stations
• Work with bidirectional AC–DC and DC–DC converters
• Implement or analyze SOC-based multistep constant current fast charging algorithms
• Evaluate grid impact (voltage dips, power quality, transformer loading)
• Integration of solar PV and/or energy storage
• Support G2V, V2G, and PV-to-grid operation modes
