In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • End to End project Hardware design & Project engineering.

  • Efficient execution of Greenfield Power & Water as well as Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) projects.

  • Able to Read RFQ/Project specification and have understanding of the requirements and specifications. Able to identify the risk and opportunities.

  • Should have adequate experience in Hardware Engineering and Panel design.

  • Understanding the Network Architecture, Exposure to Buyouts, Preparation of Purchase request.

  • Understanding of buyouts such as (HMI, Servers, Cables, Control desk/furniture, Field Instruments, Relays, Barriers, HMI, UPS, Chargers, LVS etc.).

  • Site walk-downs for data collection, IO list preparation.

  • Experience in preparation of cable schedules, engineering documentation, TQs and business/customer correspondence.

  • Experience in building a Bill of Material with support of manufacturing teams for achieving the desired result.

  • Understanding of the project cycle, time management and production phases. 

  • Awareness of technical risk during project execution and site activities.

  • Experience in Pre-FAT, Panel integration and Conducting customer FAT (HW) and SAT.

  • Close collaboration and communication with team members located at different geographical locations, including vendors & sub-contractors.

  • Verification and functional testing of I/O interfaces to field devices and Supervision of control system installation, commissioning and start-up.

    For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Degree in Engineering or Equivalent (Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Control, or equivalent field)
  • - years' project engineering experience in field of DCS and some exposure to commissioning is desirable.
  • DCS Hardware design exposure, Procurement exposure.
  • Exposure to Project documentation and project cycles.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Proficiency with ISA and SAMA logic symbols, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics

  • Proficiency with one or more DCS/PLC platforms (, ABB Pro Control / Bailey INFI / Symphony Harmony, Yokogawa Centum VP / CS, Siemens T / TXP, GE Mark V / VI, Mitsubishi DIASYS Netmation, Invensys, Honeywell TDC, MaxDNA, MetsoDNA, Alstom Alspa, Allen Bradley / GE-Fanuc / Schneider / Siemens PLCs & SCADA etc.)

  • Knowledge of datalinks (Modbus RTU / TCP-IP, ELC, Profibus, OPC, FF).
