DCS Software Engineer (ABB 800xA) - Hybrid Role in Baltimore

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled DCS Software Engineer to join our team supporting critical operations at the Patapsco Wastewater Treatment Plant in Baltimore, MD. This role involves both project development and field service responsibilities focused on programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining ABB 800xA Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with ABB 800xA or similar platforms and the ability to work independently on both new implementations and service-related issues. The position is expected to convert to a permanent role within six months, but we are open to direct hire for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and configure control logic and HMI displays within ABB DCS 800xA, including writing new control code from scratch.
