Dean/Director - Amity School of Architecture & Planning

The Dean/Director will provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership to strengthen the School’s position as a centre of excellence in Architecture, Urban Design, and Planning education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and strategic leadership to undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Drive curriculum innovation aligned with global standards and industry needs.
• Promote research, consultancy, funded projects, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Strengthen industry, professional body (COA, AICTE, UGC), and international linkages.
• Mentor faculty, guide PhD scholars, and foster a culture of academic excellence.
• Oversee accreditation, rankings, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to the University’s vision, growth, and global outreach.

Eligibility & Experience

• PhD in Architecture / Planning / Urban Design or allied disciplines.
• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in academia, with significant leadership roles.
• Strong research portfolio with publications, funded projects, or professional practice
• Experience as Dean / Director / Head of Department preferred.
• Exposure to national/international academic collaborations.
• Must meet COA / AICTE / UGC norms , as applicable.
