Position Overview



We are seeking skilled Deck Builders to join our production team. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for building decks and waterfront structures with precision and quality, while also upholding D2E’s commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.



Responsibilities

• Construct and install decks, docks, patios, and related structures per plans and specifications.
  
  
  


• Read blueprints, cut lists, and project breakdowns to ensure accuracy in execution.
  
  
  


• Operate power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
  
  
  


• Work with crews to complete jobs efficiently without unnecessary return trips.
  
  
  


• Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles.
  
  
  


• Follow all safety standards and company policies (including uniform standards).
  
  
  


• Communicate with foremen and team leaders to solve on-site challenges.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior carpentry, framing, or deck-building experience required.
  
  
  


• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and methods.
  
  
  


• Ability to read and follow blueprints and technical drawings.
  
  
  


• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  
  
  


• Must be punctual, accountable, and able to work well with a team.
  
  
  


• Valid driver’s license Required.
