To strengthen our Life Science team, we are looking for a committed person for a field service role as a:

Field Service Technician (m/f/d) for Biodecontamination

As a Field Service Technician (m/f/d) for cleanrooms and biodecontamination, you will begin your assignments from our external warehouse in Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf (near Berlin) or near Würzburg and travel across Germany, and occasionally throughout Europe, to serve our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed training/ apprenticeship as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, communications technician, or a comparable qualification with electrical knowledge
  • Initial experience as a service technician is desirable
  • Service-oriented with a friendly demeanor
  • Quick comprehension and good time management
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, including overnight stays and occasional weekend/ night shifts

    • Responsibilities:

  • Advising customers on biodecontamination technologies, safety aspects, and microbiological requirements
  • Supporting the planning and coordination of decontamination service projects
  • Performing, installing, and following up on decontamination services for pharmaceutical and biotech clients (., cleanroom fumigation)
  • Identifying additional service needs during customer visits
  • Ensuring compliance with STERIS safety and quality standards
  • Maintaining and calibrating equipment
  • Starting assignments from our Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf or Wuerzburg warehouse or home office, with 80–100% travel in the DACH region
