Position Summary

A Deli Stocker properly maintains zones, stocks the area, assists customers, and maintains exemplary customer service by adhering to the Basic Beliefs and values of Walmart.

What you’ll do

• Zone the department.
• Rotate stock and check for expired products.
• Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adhere to cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
• Take orders for Deli Department merchandise; slice and prepare merchandise such as meat, cheese, fried chicken, and provide requested assistance.
• Assist front‑end associates with price checks.
• Prepare deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilize slicers, stackers, and other utensils; prepare chicken with rotisserie oven and deep fryer; fill prepared salads and side dishes for display area and specialist orders from customers as requi...
