Job Description
Assist the Driver with the safe and efficient loading of the delivery vehicle at the start of the shift, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
Manually load and unload packages, boxes, and other items at various customer locations, often involving lifting, pushing, and carrying items of various sizes and weights.
Use appropriate equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks) to move heavy or bulky items safely.
Verify the count and condition of packages against delivery manifests or electronic devices upon loading and delivery.
