Job Description – Delivery Lead

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead with strong techno-functional expertise to lead complex programs, drive delivery excellence, and manage high-stakes client engagements. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technology understanding, business acumen, and a proven ability to shape delivery culture across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

• Own end-to-end delivery of multi-stream programs; ensure scope, quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
• Implement governance models, KPIs, risk mitigation plans, and execution frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement, engineering excellence, and automation adoption.
• Anticipate issues, manage escalations, and ensure stakeholder alignment.

Techno-Functional Expertise

• Leverage strong foundational coding background to guide technical design reviews and solutioning.
• Understand business processes, data flows, functional use cases, and architectural impacts.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering leads, and product stakeholders to ensure cohesive solution delivery.
• Support complex problem-solving with both functional and technical insights.
• Preferred Hands-on coding experience in Java/Angular/.net etc

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary delivery contact for senior client leadership.
• Manage executive communication, steering committees, QBRs, and roadmap discussions.
• Translate business goals into actionable delivery outcomes and technical direction.
• Prior experience working with US clients is preferred.

People Leadership & Culture

• Lead and mentor cross-functional, distributed teams across technology, QA, DevOps, and PMO groups.
• Build and nurture a culture of ownership, transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Drive performance management, role clarity, talent development, and succession planning.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee planning, estimation, forecasting, and resource utilization.
• Ensure adoption of Agile/Hybrid delivery models, best engineering practices, and quality frameworks.
• Maintain compliance with organizational processes, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
• Contribute to pre-sales, proposals, estimations, and client solution workshops.

Required Experience & Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience with early-career hands-on coding experience (mandatory).
• Strong techno-functional expertise across enterprise systems and modern architectures.
• Proven delivery leadership of large, distributed teams and multimillion-dollar engagements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Domain experience in BFSI, Healthcare, Insurance, or similar regulated industries.
• Exposure to US clients or global delivery models is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Certifications: PMP, SAFe, Agile, ITIL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, data engineering, integration, or AI-enabled delivery.
• Prior consulting or transformation program experience.
