Project Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Delivery Manager to support a rapidly growing banking account by overseeing staffing and managing a large-scale capabilities project. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and possess a broad skill set, including exceptional communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders. Experience in Avaloq and/or Wealth Management within the banking sector is essential. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver complex initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery Management: Oversee end-to-end delivery of capabilities projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines.
- Recruitment & Staffing: Manage recruitment processes to build and scale project teams effectively.
- Line Management: Act as a line manager for assigned team members, providing mentorship, performance reviews, and career development support.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, building trust and ensuring transparency in project progress.
- Resource Planning: Optimize resource allocation across multiple streams and manage vendor relationships.
- Governance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with client governance frameworks and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate delivery risks, ensuring smooth execution of strategic initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and best practices across delivery teams.
Mandatory Skills Description:
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT delivery or project/program management. Experience in Wealth Management or fund management within the banking sector is essential.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-stream projects in a regulated environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including experience as a line manager.
- Ability to manage recruitment processes and build high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align delivery to business objectives.
Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
- Familiarity with Avaloq and/or Wealth Management platforms like Additiv, Backbase or Charles River.
