Delivery & Operations (Mobile Robotics) Sr. General Manager
Location: Gurugram
JOB PURPOSE
Head- Delivery & Operations role is for autonomous & mobile robots function. Primary responsibility is to manage quality, cost & delivery across the entire value stream, starting from procurement, supplier management, production, quality, installation, commissioning and aftersales support. The incumbent need to have a proven track record of leadership excellence & hands‑on management experience with strong technical background and an entrepreneurial spirit in order to come up with new ideas and implement the same. He / She will be part of the executive leadership team and will represent the company in various forums. Will be responsible for P&L performance to top management team.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
- Sales & Pre Sales: Devise and execute a strategic sales strategy targeting the “turnkey solutions” space built around Mobile Robots and their applications to obtain large value orders (in excess of 2 crores each) with high margins.
- Provide and develop the solutioning idea along with a solutioning expert team to enable the strategic sales.
- Generate sales from our key account customer for repeat business.
- Handle the pre‑sales function and ensure quality proposals are shared with customers timely.
DELIVERY
- Enable and coordinate the delivery process (from despatch to customer) for the turnkey solutions generated above.
- Enable and supervise the delivery process (from despatch to customer) for Mobile Robot sales both as CAPEX and OPEX sales.
- Groom and mentor the delivery team which includes design, controls, production, installation & service/customer success.
- Ensure successful deliveries of our projects and solutions with time, cost and quality inline to AOP targets.
CUSTOMER SUCCESS
- Drive the Customer Success Platform for turnkey and MR sales ensuring, where applicable, maximizing returns on AMC, CMC and other annuity incomes through client partnership initiatives.
COST
Planning, monitoring and controlling the direct cost for achieving a higher contribution (at least 40%).
PROFILE
- 15+ years industry experience in automotive electronics company or advanced engineering and technology companies.
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electronics or similar background.
- Passion for innovation, advanced technology systems and entrepreneurship.
- Proven track record of hiring, building, and scaling operations teams.
- Lean manufacturing certification & 6 sigma black belt is a bonus.
REQUISITES
Exposure with sun‑rise industries in the technology domain, with manufacturing and automation background.
