Bhumi’sWhole-School Transformation is a comprehensive program that focuses on
strengthening student learning outcomes while working alongside key
stakeholders such as school leaders/HMs, parents, teachers, and the community.

Roles &
Responsibilities:

  • Donor Acquisition and Partnership Development
    Lead efforts to secure funding and build
    relationships with donors for all whole-school transformation initiatives,
    including the Bhumi Fellowship, trainer-driven STEM program, scholarship
    schemes, and Ignite+/infrastructure development projects.
  • Government Relations Management
    Manage and nurture strategic relationships with
    government bodies and agencies across all operating cities to support program
    implementation in various types of schools, ensuring alignment and compliance.
  • STEM Program Leadership and Strategy
    Design, strategize, and oversee the effective
    delivery of the STEM program across all locations, ensuring quality,
    scalability, and impact.
  • Scholarship Program Management
    Design, strategize, and oversee the effective
    delivery of the Scholarship program and monitoring to maximize educational
    outcomes.
  • Cross-Program Coordination and Impact Measurement
    Coordinate across programs to ensure synergy,
    efficient resource use, and track program effectiveness through robust
    monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
  • Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

  • At least ten years of
    experience in managing people / projects
  • Any Graduate, post-graduate, or
    fellowship
  • Experience in school
    transformation would be an advantage
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Good people management skills
  • Good people engagement,
    networking, and listening skills
  • Ability to drive
    outcome-oriented plans through the team’s collective effort
  • Good written and verbal
    communication skills in English and Tamil.
  • Emotional maturity to empathize
    with the perspectives/needs of team members
  • Highly resourceful team player
    who is also self-driven.
  • Forward-looking thinker who
    actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

  • Scope: Full-time
  • Reporting to: Executive
    Director
  • Remuneration: Negotiable based
    on the candidate’s profile
  • Expected Joining Date:
    Immediate
  • Location: Chennai
  • Minimum commitment: Three years
