Deputy Finance Manager Assistant / Abidjan

Key Qualifications and Skills:




• Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or CPA/CA a plus).



• Experience: 10+ years in finance/accounting roles, ideally in manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution.



• Solid Excel and ERP system proficiency (SAP preferred)



• Fluency in French and preferable English also; Arabic desirable.





Key Responsibilities:



Financial Reporting & Analysis



• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.



• Consolidate and analyze financial data across production, sales, and distribution units.



• Support management reporting with insights and dashboards to guide strategic decisions.





Cost & Inventory Control



• Supervise cost accounting, especially related to manufacturing and raw materials.



• Analyze and optimize inventory valuation, stock variances, and working capital.



• Collaborate with warehouse and supply chain teams to improve inventory accuracy and turnover.





Budgeting & Forecasting:



• Participate in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.



• Monitor budget vs. actual and flag deviations with proposed corrective actions.



• Provide input on pricing, margin analysis, and profitability by product line.





Internal Controls & Process Improvement



• Strengthen internal financial controls across the business.



• Support implementation of systems (e.g., SAP or ERP) and automate key finance processes.



• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
