Deputy Financial Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Controller to join our team and act as a strategic business partner across the organization. This role is central to supporting growth, strengthening financial discipline, leading automation initiatives, and ensuring compliance across all finance and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership and the Board
• Evaluate financial performance, provide insights, and drive business decisions
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and FP&A reporting tools
• Lead accounting operations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation
• Ensure internal controls, compliance, and serve as primary contact for audits
• Oversee all tax compliance, planning, and statutory reporting
• Manage cash flow, treasury, investments, and banking relationships
• Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP/system upgrades
• Mentor and lead finance teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration
• Ensure adherence to statutory, ROC, MCA, FCRA, and labor-related compliance

Qualifications & Experience:

• 8–10 years of post-qualification experience in finance, with mandatory experience in manufacturing ; Multinational Corporation experience is a plus
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Inter-CA with a degree in Commerce
• Strong business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to influence leadership
• Proven ability to drive change and adapt to evolving organizational needs
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with hands-on operational expertise
• Team-focused, collaborative, and service-minded
• Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems such as QAD, SAP, and Oracle
• Fluent in English and Hindi
