Role Summary:


The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end Quality Control activities at the factory, ensuring robust quality systems, zero-defect culture, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure standard QC procedures for RM/PM/Bulk/FG sampling and release are followed as per AQL, specs & analytical protocols.
  • Audit and manage BPR, IPQC & QC documentation. Implement CAPA for non-conformance.
  • Strengthen in-process checks and support plant teams in incident mapping & resolution.
  • Drive improvement in QACI, QRI & QMS metrics; generate and publish QC MIS reports.
  • Manage disposition of rejected/non-conforming materials and ensure traceability.
  • Maintain specifications, shade cards, artworks, and coordination with related teams.
  • Conduct trials for NPDs and changes; ensure protocol-based evaluation and implementation.
  • Perform risk audits (unit/supplier), recommend CAPAs and follow-up.
  • Train QC/shopfloor teams on SOPs, systems, audits, and process controls.
  • Support root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, and shopfloor troubleshooting.
  • Lead Quality initiatives like Kaizens, Six Sigma projects, complaint reduction drives.


Qualifications & Experience:


Education: M.Sc. Chemistry (mandatory) ➤ ISO Lead Auditor / Six Sigma certification preferred

Experience: ➤ 8–10 years in FMCG QC, including 5–6 years in factory team leadership ➤ Hands-on with ISO, audits, NPD, validations, SAP QM, SOPs, risk/process audits ➤ Experience in complaint investigation, CAPA, and supplier quality systems

Other Requirements

➤ Strong analytical & documentation skills

➤ Ability to lead cross-functional teams

➤ Proficiency in SAP-QM (preferred)
