Dermatology Registered Nurse

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Outpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department: Derm Clinic Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $32.01 - $49.62 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position requires onsite presence and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Summary: Join our dynamic team to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Dermatology Clinic at UCHealth. You will utilize your nursing skills and critical thinking to deliver high-quality care in accordance with organizational policies and standards. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on thorough assessments to achieve optimal outcomes and effectively utilize resources. Monitor and document patient conditions, collaborating with team members across disciplines to ensure coordinated care, including transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support needs. Identify the educational needs of patients and families, providing tailored guidance appropriate to their unique circumstances, age, and culture. Delegate patient care tasks to ancillary staff while also precepting and mentoring student nurses and new hires. This role requires independent critical thinking and the ability to thrive in a busy environment. Requirements: A graduate of an accredited or state board-approved Registered/Professional Nursing program; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum of 6 months nursing experience. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with the card in-hand before the start date, valid through at least sixty days after hire.
